Me - WTF?

"Managing The Dragon (Lady)" Dept.:

I was reminded in a two word message from the ever-laconic Tizano deSantis that I was aproximately one year BEHIND in my explanations as to where I'm gonna be at the ENORMOUS HobbyStar FANEXPO, here in Toronto, starting Friday the 28th of August at Noon and runing til Sunday.

Where am I in the largest fan gathering of it's kind in Canada, and the third-largest in North America?

Well, lemme break it down.

Well first you go here...

Then you'll be here...

I mean LOOK AT IT - It's SPRAWLING!!...

Lord Gawdamighty - Zoom in more!...

and I can be found right HERE...

See? Easy-peasy! Come and see me!!! Even better, come and buy cool comics stuff from me!

Oh, to have a teleporter! I think I should send you one of our leaflets of geographical locationisation. Also, my directions suck (watching from the desk as people go down the wrong street entirely is not happymaking, neither is teenage boys vaulting the fence and creeping in through the firedoor and being a high speed nuisance chased by a low speed buzzy. Low speed having little to do with desired speed or levels of annoyance and affrontery. We got baited with lots of silly noises and hiding behind things) Sorry about the ventilation there, it just got to me. That a huge chunk of the local population don't give a [blank] about "us" doesn't help my good cheer. American visitors who spontaneously donate tenners do help the good cheer (and B says that was mostly me doing my thing). I like it when we have interested people - it's apathy that really gets on my nerves. Ah, sorry about the extra ventilation. Think I am on the wrong side of teh brane again.

PS = it looks absolutely huge! I think I need to revise my standards of bigness. One of my colleagues asked if I went to any of the needlecraft shows at Ally Pally. I really want to just type "Ally Pally" a lot. *silly grin*

Are you still with us? I mean, I realise LJ is no longer the place to be, but I do miss your stuff, generally. So, if there's a place you're more active online (and full of groovy treats), I'm sure the internet would like to hear about it.

Actually, I am still online but a recent job change has been eating up all of my time. I'll still have stuff out here from time to time.

I plan to make LiveJournal my blogging site while most people who want to know what I'm up to on a day to day basis or to take a look at the YouTube and occasional paper media entries I would usually make out here are invited to add me as Joe Kilmartin over on FACEBOOK.
